Today saw Jonathan Backhouse win the club’s August Cup at St John’s Church in Kingston Park, beating club chair Rikki Blythe after both reached the final of a 10-player Swiss followed by main and consolation knock-outs.
Meanwhile Jon Isbell defeated Don Irving in the final of the consolation.
Thanks to all who took part in another well-attended club meeting.
