In a rather fitting win, former club chairman Martin Barkwill won our special 10th anniversary tournament at Kingston Park. Martin stood down a couple of months ago but suggested a special event to mark the club milestone.
Fourteen players took part in the event at St John’s Church, with a special trophy and other prizes on offer to mark the 10th anniversary of the setting up of the club.
Martin beat Kevin Stebbing in the final of the main event, while Marina Zasukhina won the consolation event, with Keith Gill the runner-up. In the last chance matches, Krzysztof Cebula beat Vagelis Galanis in the final.
