Another good turn out for the July meeting, with a seven-strong round robin event and a league match at the Old George in Newcastle.
Alan Hind and Mike Snowdon led the way in the round robin but time ran out before they could play the deciding match. So, to be continued….
Also, the club is organising a one-day event on Saturday, September 9 starting at 11am. The event, once again, is being held at the Gateshead Bowls Club, with £10 for registration and £20 entry fees, with all the entry fees returned as prizes. Contact us if you’re interested in taking part. A buffet lunch will be provided.
