Registrations are now open for the 2026 West Yorkshire Open which will be held on the weekend of March 27-29.

There will be two flights. Masters – limited to 64 players and an intermediate flight limited to 48 players. If you wish to register for the event, please email northeastbackgammon@gmail.com 

Please state which flight you wish to enter.

Entry fees: £75 for Masters and £50 for Intermediates, plus a £25 registration fee for each flight. Payment is due by Monday 16th February.

In addition to the main sections there will be a number of side events:

– Two warm-ups on the Friday with £50 added to each.

– Doubles on the Saturday evening – maximum of 16 teams.

– A board competition – £10 to enter and a maximum of 32 entrants. Board is supplied by ArtGammon.

– Super jackpot on Friday evening – £100 entry maximum 8/16 entrants (depending on numbers)

– Super jackpot on Saturday evening – £250 entry maximum 8/16 entrants (depending on numbers)

There is no registration fee for any of the side events.

To register for the main event please email – northeastbackgammon@gmail.com stating which level you would like to enter. Entry fee for the advanced section is £75 and registration is £25. Entry fee for the intermediate section is £50 and registration is £25.

There will be pools available: Pools for advanced main £10, £20, £50, £100 and for the intermediate main £10, £20, £50, with a maximum of two adjacent pools. Side pools for the consolation will be £10 and £20 and £10 for the last chance.
